This addition to the published proceedings of this conference describes the Network Program which included five workshops. The Network is organized to facilitate discussion of issues of interest to faculty mentors, administrators and representatives of funding agencies, corporations, and foundations that support undergraduate research. The five workshops were: Enhancing opportunities for undergraduate research by minority students; Promoting undergraduate research in the humanities and fine arts; Funding sources for undergraduate research in the sciences; Community-centered undergraduate research: A public service program of Minnesota`s private colleges; and Evaluating undergraduate research: Why and How.
