Profiles of nonlinear motion of magnetization in superfluid /sup 3/He. I. Nonlinear parallel ringing

Ringing profiles of magnetization are calculated in both the A and B phases of superfluid /sup 3/He, by numerically integrating the Leggett--Takagi equations for various input energies and spin relaxation rates. Spin relaxation is shown to have a strong effect on the ringing profiles, giving rise to the switching of ringing modes.
