A walk-through survey at Synpol, Inc., Port Neches, Texas in August, 1985 was conducted. The purpose of the survey was to determine the feasibility of including the facility in an in-depth survey of 1,3-butadiene exposure. Bulk samples of styrene-butadiene rubber and emulsion butadiene rubber were analyzed for residual 1,3-butadiene.
