The cross-section and all 4 analyzing powers, T{sub 20}, T{sub 21}, T{sub 22} and iT{sub 11}, of the {alpha}-{sup 6}Li elastic scattering at {sup 6}Li incident energies of 19.6 MeV and 5.5 MeV have been measured. The cross-section and the tensor analyzing power data were used to determine {eta}, the asymptotic D- to S-state ratio of the {sup 6}Li {yields} {alpha} + d cluster wavefunction, using the pole extrapolation method first proposed by Amado et al. We were able to extract meaningful values for {eta} using the T{sub 20} and T{sub 22} data taken at {sup 6}Li incident energy of 5.5 MeV. We did not obtain {eta} using the T{sub 21} analyzing power at {sup 6}Li incident energy of 5.5 MeV because of the inconsistency in the 3 most back angle data points. We were unable to use the 19.6 MeV data because the angular distributions on the cross-section and analyzing powers have too much structure. We conclude that {eta} = {minus}0.011 {plus minus} 0.005.
