Weekly coal production: Bituminous and lignite, Pennsylvania anthracite

Weekly, monthly, and annual data are given on U.S. production of bituminous, lignite, and anthracite coals. Such data has appeared previously in either ''Production of Coal, Bituminous and Lignite'' (DOE/EIA-0128) or ''Pennsylvania Anthracite Weekly Production'' (DOE/EIA-0127), which have been discontinued. All data are reported in short tons. Separate tables and graphs are used to show U.S. production of bituminous and lignite coal and the production of Pennsylvania anthracite for each of the two most recent weeks, for a corresponding week in the previous year, and for the current and previous year-to-date, with percentage changes. Total production and railroad car loadings are reported. Bituminous coal and lignite production are also given for each of the 26 coal-producing States for the most recent two weeks and a corresponding week in the previous year. 3 tables, 2 figures.
