Sales of fuel oil and kerosene in 1978

This annual publication shows sales of distillate fuel oils, residual fuel oils, and kerosene (excluding jet fuel) in the current year and in the previous year. Sales data are given for each State and each Petroleum Administration for Defense (PAD) District. Summary tables cover a five-year period and give end-use data for each fuel. End uses include heating, industrial use, oil company use, railroads, vessel bunkering use, and electric utility company use. Import and export data are provided for selected fuels for the current and previous year. A narrative section covers trends and highlights. Data are shown in thousands of barrels in the tables, and in millions of barrels in the figure material. 16 tables, 3 figures.
