Resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization spectra of CH/sub 3/O and CD/sub 3/O between 313 and 328 nm are reported. Methoxy radicals were generated by the reaction of F atoms with CH/sub 3/OH, CH/sub 3/OD, and CD/sub 3/OD in a flow reactor. The most prominent band of these spectra resides at 320.6 nm in CH/sub 3/O and 319.3 nm in CD/sub 3/O. Mass spectra of both isotopic analogues showed that methoxy molecular ions do not fragment.
