Acid rain: a bibliography of research annotated for easy access

During the past 25 years the subject of acid precipitation has leaped into the foreground of public awareness. Although there have been many new technological developments in atmospheric chemistry during this time, probably the area that has been to date most resistant to the new technology has been water analysis. This book does little to relieve the situation. There are 886 entries, roughly alphabetical by author. Access is via the subject index, which gives the abstract number corresponding to the subjects. Interestingly, there is not a single entry for any conceivable synonym of chemical analysis. Overall, this index is brief and is probably adequate for a lay person who simply wants to be pointed to books that will give him a broad picture of acid rain.
