A-dependence of the cross sections for production of the isotopes /sup 3,4,6/He and /sup 6,7/Li with large transverse momenta in interactions between relativistic protons and nuclei

Experimental data are presented on production of the isotopes /sup 3,4,6/He and /sup 6,7/Li with large transverse momenta in the interaction between 6.6-GeV protons and the nuclei Be, C, Cu, /sup 112,124/Sn, and Au. The inclusive fragmentation cross sections are compared with data obtained at a proton energy 400 GeV. The strong dependence of the fragment-production cross section on the mass numbers of the target nucleus and of the fragment is investigated.
