Broken SU(3) symmetry from quark interchange

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev. D; (United States)

The one-boson-exchange model is related to a bag-model quark-interchange mechanism for the hadronic interactions at low energy and momentum transfer. These mesonic interactions are a consequence of quark reflections in the color-confining hadronic surface region, where such events in neighboring hadrons are required to be paired for chiral invariance to hold in each perturbative hadronic interior.
