The competition of market share nowadays requires active information processing that goes beyond basic Concurrent Engineering (CE). Decision making hence becomes critical in the cases of complex product development projects to be electronically controlled. This paper presents a hierarchical system structured to model the concepts and processes of concurrent development process. This model is created to monitor the process of concurrent activities in order to bridge the gaps between department by forcing close collaboration of team members within the company personnel and customers. Numerical results can be obtained computationally to assist decision making tasks by using this system.
