In this work, an object-oriented simulation & analysis system for chemical process is developed, and the application of Object-Oriented Technology (OOT) to large scale chemical process system is studied. Several typical base classes of chemical process, such as Process class, Thermodynamic class, Modular class, Mixture and Stream class, etc., are designed along with their derived classes. Meanwhile, many system analysis classes used to system analysis work are provided, and the ability of system analysis is enhanced.
