The development of large programs usually involve many developers and spans an extended period of time. In such a scenario, inconsistencies occur due to varying views and assumptions in the specification of the various modules. Integration testing is the procedure used to uncover such inconsistencies. The process of integration testing, however, tends to be unstructured and time consuming due to the difficulty in defining and executing test cases that thoroughly exercise the complete functionality of the combined modules. In this paper, we present a procedure to perform integration testing that does not require a specification of new test cases to exercise the integrated modules and allows the efficient execution of integration test based on the individual modules test cases that are already defined. The proposed method yields a test execution time which is proportional to the sum of the numbers of test cases for each module rather than the product of the number of cases.
