This book discusses computational fluid mechanics and heat transfer. The first section of the book covers material on finite difference methods. The second section illustrates the use of these methods in solving different types of problems encountered in fluid mechanics and heat transfer. Some of the topics covered include: partial differential equations; application of finite-difference methods to selected model equations; governing equations of fluid mechanics and heat transfer; numerical methods for inviscid flow equations; numerical methods for the boundary layer equations; numerical methods for the parabolized navier-stokes and reynolds equations; and grid generation schemes.
