The laser Stark spectrum of [sup 18]O-substituted methanol has been studied using the 337- and 311-[mu]m lines of the HCN laser as well as the 195-[mu]m line of the DCN laser. Numerous families of absorption lines have been observed for both parallel and perpendicular polarizations up to 60 kV/cm. With the 337-[mu]m line, two families of resonances are identified as J[sub K] = 9[sub 6] [l arrow] 10[sub 5]E[sub 2], v[sub t] = 0 and J[sub k] = 1[sub 1] [l arrow] 2[sub 2]E[sub 2], v[sub t] = 1 transitions. The Stark shifts for the J[sub k] = 9[sub 6] [l arrow] 10[sub 5]E[sub 2], v[sub t] = 0 transition are best represented by values of 0.893 [+-] 0.020 and 1.36 [+-] 0.02 D for the parallel and perpendicular components, respectively, of the electric dipole moment for CH[sub 3][sup 18]OH. Two families of resonances observed at [lambda] = 311 [mu]m are identified as the J[sub K] = 9[sub 1][sup [minus]] [l arrow] 8[sub 2][sup +]A, v[sub t] = 1 transition, forbidden in zero field, and the J[sub K] = 7[sub 4] [l arrow] 6[sub 3]A, v[sub t] = 0 transition. An R-branch transition observed with the 195-[mu]m line has been identified as the J[sub K] = 10[sub 7] [l arrow] 9[sub 6]A, v[sub t] = 0 transition. Zero-field frequencies for all the assigned transitions are given with improved accuracy over those calculated from available molecular constants.
