Internal Dosimetry Data and Methods of ICRP - Part 2, Vol. 1: Committed Dose Equivalent and Secondary Limits

This is the second annual report of the project to furnish to the NRC documentation of background data and methodologies as used by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) Committee 2 on Secondary Limits. ICRP Publication 30 provides secondary radiation protection guidance on the intake limits of radionuclides for occupational exposure. Thus, detailed understanding of the principles behind ICRP Publication 30 is of considerable importance to the NRC since the permissible concentration values contained in Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 20 (10 CFR 20) are based primarily on values from ICRP Publication 2.
