This book presents the papers given at a symposium on the use of microwave radiation in medical diagnosis. Topics considered at the symposium included the inversion of microwave thermographic data, image processing, microwave radiometric detection of thermal asymmetry of varicocele, a direct contact applicator for microwave hyperthermia, a coplanar waveguide short gap resonator for medical applications, and a microwave apparatus for producing uniform hyperthermic temperatures over large surfaces.
