A natural gas feed is first reduced in temperature to liquefy the heavy hydrocarbons which are separated from a remaining uncondensed portion. The uncondensed vapors provide reboil heat for the distillation of a nitrogen and methane liquid component separated from the uncondensed vapors. Helium and nitrogen components are separately recovered as overhead in the liquefication separation and liquid fraction distillation of the remaining uncondensed vapors. (6 claims)
