RCN-1 pseudo fission-product capture group cross sections

A summary of the results obtained on pseudo fission-product cross sections for four mixtures, representing fission products of /sup 235/U, /sup 238/ U, /sup 239/Pu, and /sup 241/Pu, in the fast breeder react or SNR-300 is presented. Group cross sections for neutron capture were calculated and checked against reactivity worths of three mixed fission-product samples, measured in four neutron spectra in the STEK facility. A reasonable agreement was found, and statistical adjustment of the cross section did not lead to significant changes. A comparison was made of pseudo fission-product cross section sets, derived from an RCN evaluation and several other data files. (2 figures, 8 tables) (auth)
