Reliability in a safety analysis method (in French)
From generic techniques in systems reliability assessment conference; Liverpool, UK (16 Jul 1973). The benefit of failure analysis and fault tree is very important to quantify the safety problems. The logical and deep analysis of the possible accidents, the knowledge of components under normal operation with their failure capabilities, the determination of major contributions to system unreliability, and the assessment of the overall failure of a system involved in a safety action are various tools now essential to safety analysts. A very important part in the safety analysis should be given to the influence of the test and maintenance programme: and to the human reliability either in direct operation or in implementing the maintenance programme. 6 references.
