Thesis. Coincidence and sum measurements were made of the gamma spectra of /sup 228/Th and its derivatives, a germanium detector being used for the purpose. A partial scheme is proposed for the excited levels of /sup 228/Th. The coincidence windows providing the most information plus or minus 20 keV. The energy and intensity of the sum structures observed are given. The results of the coincidence measurements made led to the establishment of the existence of 33 levels which, in turn, led to a univocal interpretation of 127 transitions; 8 transitions were interpreted in two different ways. The sum rules suggest the existence of other levels for the interpretation of weak transitions. The-decay schemes of /sup 228/Ac and /sup 228/Pa are compared using /sup 228/Th. Studies of the gamma radiation from /sup 228/Th and its derivatives led to the establishment of the existence of 49 gamma ray emissions between 80 and 2860 keV. In addition to the gamma radiation from the isotopes of the active deposit, radiation due to /sup 224/Ra and /sup 220/Rn was observed. The most intense radiations belong to /sup 212/Bi, /sup 212/Po, and /sup 208/Pb nuclei. It was possible to determine the energy of a certain number of transitions and nuclear levels in the decay of /sup 220/Rn, /sup 212/Bi, and /sup 208/Tl. In addition this study enabled the radiation from /sup 228/Th + derivatives to be subtracted from the radiation of /sup 228/Ra + derivatives, this process being exceedingly complex. (FR)
