Influence of the isotope-invariant pair correlations on the root-mean- square radii (in Russian)

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4938600
The influence of the isotope-invariant pair correlations on the mean- square radii of nuclei (RMS) is studied. RMS are calculated for the Cr, Fe, Ni and Zn. It is shown that taking into account of the pairing leads to increase of RMS by 1 to 2%, as compared with the value obtained with the help of the shell model, and gives a qualitatively right behavior of the RMS along the isotopes. In a quantitative relation the pair correlations at various values of the pairing constants couldn't explain the anomalies observed. (auth)
