Neutron energy spectrum at 0$sup 0$ from the reaction d($sup 9$Be,$sup 10$B)n for a deuteron energy of 1.8 MeV

The neutron energy spectrum at 0 deg from the reaction d(/sup 9/Be,/sup 10/B) at 1.8 MeV has been measured. The neutrons were produced by bombarding a water-cooled beryllium target with deuterons from the Harwell 5 MeV Van de Graaff accelerator and were detected by a /sup 6/Li semiconductor sandwich spectrometer. The spectrum has a large double peak below 1 MeV and a high energy component extending to approximates 7 MeV. (auth)
