Properties of certain integro-differential equations of the Boltzmann type in Lebesgue spaces (in German)

Thesis. Submitted to Univ., Duesseldorf. The integro-differential equations of the BOLTZMANN type which play an important role in neutron transport theory are studied. Eigenvalue problems as well as existence and uniqueness of nonnegative solutions for given boundary conditions are investigated. Furthermore, necessary convergence conditions of the MAREK iteration method, used to find a certain eigensolution, are named. (RW) (GE)
