OSTI ID:4936908
A survey is given of the literature data on thermal conductivity of UO/ sub 2/ at temperatures up to approximates 2800 deg K. On the basis of the analysis and generalization of the data, a relationship for dependence of thermal conductivity on temperatare is proposed. Techniques and methods used for the experimental verification of this dependence are described. The thermal conductivity of polycrystalline UO/sub 2/ of stoichiometric composition was measured in the temperature range from 500 to 2600 deg K. (6 tables, 21 figures, 74 references) (tr-auth)
