Decay of $sup 233$Pa to the levels in $sup 233$U. Research report No. 9, 1972

The decay of /sup 233/Pa was studied by means of semiconductor detectors and coincidence techniques. In addition to the well known transitions and energy levels observed earlier in /sup 233/U one could see some weak gamma transitions at energies 41.5, 248.0, 258.2 and 298.5 keV. The coincidence measurements establish a new level at 298.5 keV, which was assigned to 7/2 -- STA743! single particle neutron state based on systematics and gamma-transition rates. (auth)
