FOUR ACES: a programme for producing group averaged cross sections from different files
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4935618
The computer code FOUR ACES calculates group-averaged nuclear constants from pointwise and parametric data in the UKNDL, ENDF/B, and KEDAK formats. A maximum of 255 energy groups is accepted with either a built-in or a user- supplied weighting function. Resonance parameters are treated according to the Breit--Wigner (single and multilevel), Adler--Adler, and Reich-Moore formalisms. Numerical Doppler broadening to a given temperature can be applied to the cross sections before the averaging. Several desirable features of FOUR ACES include simplicity of data input, spectrum options, and card image output tape. (auth)
