Analytical applications of sealed radioactive sources in the textile industry (in French)

Analytical methcds using sealed radioactive sources are based on the absorption or diffusion of alpha , BETA , and gamma rays and neutrons; x fluorescence; and the thermalization and diffusion of neutrons. Each of these methods is described briefly with the emphasis on the exact role each method can play in the textile industry. Typical applications include determination of chlorine in cblorinated fibers, humidity determination, and sorting of spools in weaving installations. (JSR)
