Pion-deuteron elastic scattering at intermediate energies

The variation of the fixed-angle differential cross sections is determined for incident pion energies between 141 and 256 MeV for pi /sup +/ + d elastic scattering. The data are compared to a Brueckner model calculation including s- and p-wave single and double scattering. (JFP)
