Predictive model for viscous fingering in compositional WAG floods

The authors present a predictive model, with no adjustable parameters, for viscous fingering in compositional water-alternating-gas (WAG) floods. The model is used to generate pseudo functions for use in a conventional compositional simulator. The model is applied successfully to three test cases, including one in a simple, heterogeneous reservoir.
