The problem of electromagnetic wave diffraction was analyzed for inclined incidence on a metal lattice with a finite-thickness dielectric layer. The problem was resolved for arbitrary wave length-period and metal width-period ratios, dielectric thickness, and dielectric penetrability. Graphs were constructed for penetrability coefficients, diffraction spectra harmonics (the numerical data were machine computed), and equivalent boundary conditions. (tr- auth)
