Zircaloy-2 to AISI type 410 gasketed joints were corrosion tested in simulated CVTR coolant water for periods up to 180 days at 300 and 567 deg F. Special emphasis was placed on testing for possible crevice corrosion effects. Neither serious general corrosion nor pitting was observed on the test specimens. (auth)
