Assignment of the human GL12 gene to 2q14 by fluorescence in situ hybridization
- Nagasaki Univ. School of Medicine, Sakamoto (Japan)
This report describes the localization of the human GLI2 gene to human chromosome 2q14 using fluorescence in situ hybridization and polymerase chain reaction of somatic cell hybrids. GLI2 is part of a gene family which encodes proteins with five zinc-finger repeat motifs. 8 refs., 1 fig.
