JOIN COMPUTER PROGRAM
BS>JOIN is an IBM 7090 Computer Program that will calculate the spring constant matrix for a composite beam made up of not more than ten sections. It will also calculate the resulting spring constant matrix when one of three boundaryconditions (pinned, built-in or double spring) is applied to the composite beam. The input consists of the beam section spring constant matrices and type of boundary condition and output is the composite spring constant matrix. The program is limited to beams with motion in one plane. The program was written to combine the results of the "General Beam" program (ANP No. 530) and "Cone Beam Equation" program (ANP No. 526) for use in the "Free" vibration program (ANP No. 332). (auth)
