A SUBLINEAR STRUM LIOUVILLE PROBLEM

Journal Article · · J. Math. and Mech.
OSTI ID:4841439

The classical linear regular Sturm-Liouville problem formulates existence of a pure discrete point spectrum lying on the real axis, each eigenvalue being of index 1 and of finite multiplicity, and a corresponding system of finite dimensional eigenvalues, the finished product comprising the complete Hilbert space. This situation is disrupted by introducing a nonlinearity. (L.N.N.)
