The Electronic Specific Heat of Lithium Isotopes

Journal Article · · Proceedings of the Royal Society. A. Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences
The specific heats of natural lithium (predominantly Li7) and of lithium containing 99.3% Li6 determined from 0.4 to 1.5 deg K. There is no significant difference in the electronic specific heats, the coefficient of this term being about 390 mu cal deg K-2g atom-1(163 mJ deg K-2g atom-1). T he significance of this result is discussed.
