PHOTOPROTONS FROM Rh, Pt, AND Pb (in Russian)

The angular and energy distributibns and ylelds of photoprotons from Rh, Pt, and Pb are measured for peak bremestrahlung spectra energles 22.5 and 33.5 Mev. TMe maxima of the photoproton productibn cross sections are located at gamma energies above 22 Mev. In this regibn gamma absorption by heavy nuclei is mainly of a quadrupole nature. The contribution of quadrupole absorption increases with Z. (auth)
