Work on superconducting magnets and associated equipment is summarized. A superconducting Nb solenoid was constructed with a maximum field of approximately 2600 gauss; quenching by leads occurred. Difficulties were encountered in making leads which will not quench superconductivity at low fields for a laboratory magnet. The status of the thermodynamic data tabulation is outlined for He, H/sub 2/, and N/sub 2/. (D.L.C.)
