REACTIONS BETWEEN RADIOACTIVE POLLUTION AND SUSPENDED MATTER IN STREAMS

Journal Article · · Deut. gewasserkundl. Mitt., Sonderheft
OSTI ID:4839610
Processes of adsorption and ion exchange between radioactive materials and suspended matter in streams are discussed. Results are given of investigations into the effect of various coagulants on the removal of different radioactive isotopes, the content of radioactivity in filtered and unfiltered Rhine water, and the difference between radioactivity of surface and bottom water in the Rhine. (Public Health Eng. abstr. 42: No. 3, March 1962).
