  1. Philipp Holzmann AG, Neu-Isenburg (Germany). Technical Dept.

This article describes the shotcrete application with the roll-over shutterbelt system which allows a controlled continuous even-surface application of single-shell layers of shotcrete at a defined thickness without creating rebound material. Tests had to be carried out on both wet and dry shotcrete method because up to now insufficient results had been achieved concerning adhesive and early strength during the first decisive 3--6 minutes. Spray dust is avoided by substitution of the compressed air by a centrifugal jetting method. The experiments made up to now give various new information about the modified shotcrete and application system.
