A flotation pilot plant capable of handling 50 to 100 lb/hr of pegmatitic uranium ore on a continuous basis was assembled at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. Prelimnary results are satisfactory enough to warrant consideration of a flotation process for the recovery of uranium from some pegmatitic ores. The flotation circuit is discussed, and a flow sheet of the pilot plant is diagrammed. Some test results are also given. (P.C.H.)
