INTERPOL--A MERCURY PROGRAMME TO CALCULATE PARAMETERS ASSOCIATED WITH ABSORBER PLATES FOR USE IN DIFFUSION CODES
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4836833
The INTERPOL program, written in Autocode for the MERCURY computer, calculates effective boundary conditions at control plate surfaces for use with few group spatial diffusion theory codes. High order spherical harmonic boundary conditions for mono-energetic neutrons are appropriately averaged over a Wigner- Wilkins spectrum. In the epithermal region, logarithmic boundary conditions are averaged over a distorted dE/E spectrum. (auth)
