Measurements were made of radioactivity of. Austrian food from, June to Decemher 1960. Sources of contamination and nuclides to be considered and selection of samples are discussed. Cs/sup 137/, Sr/sup 90/, Ca, and K were determined in milk and cheese, cereals, potatoes, fruits, and vegetables. The average Sr/sup 90/ content of normal. Austrian diet was determined. (M.C.G.)
