SOLUBILITY OF YTTRIUM HYDROXIDE IN SODIUM HYDROXIDE SOLUTION (in Russian)

The solubility of yttrium hydroxide in 8 to 19 mole/1 sodium hydroxide solution was studied. The solubility increases with the increase of alkali concentration. Yttrium hydroxides form the solid phase of the concentration. Yttrium hydroxide amphoteric properties are weaker than those of scandium. (R.V.J.)
