EFFECT OF THE RIPENING TIME OF FERRIC HYDROXIDE GEL ON THE ADSORPTION OF RADIOACTIVE ISOTOPES (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Kolloid. Zhur.
OSTI ID:4834046

The degree of adsorption of Sr/sup 90/ at about pH 8.0 falls noticeably only in the first three days of aging of ferric hydroxide gel provided it is kept in solution. Practically no change in adsorption of Ce/sup 144/ and Ru/sup 106/ at about pH 6.3 takes place with reepect to the ripening time of the gel. (auth)
