ANALYTIC PROPERTIES OF PARTIAL WAVE AMPLITUDES AND THE ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOR OF THE SCATTERING AMPLITUDE (in Russian)

It is shown that if the simplest inelastic channels in the unitarity condition are taken into account, the partial wave amplitudes as a function of the moment can possess poles and singularities whose position is independent of energy. Assuming this result to be valid in the general case, it should follow that the asymptotic behavior of the scattering amplitude at high energies either yields a slowly decreasing cross section or is of the same kind as that discussed by V. N. Gribov (Nucl. Phys., 22: 249(1961)). (auth)
