A COMPUTER SOLUTION TO THE GENERALIZED LEAST SQUARES PROBLEM

A description is given for a computer program for fitting method of least squares. As many as 20 parameters may be determined by fitting the specified function to as may as 500 experimental points, and the analytic expression to be fitted may be a function of us many as 5 independent variables. The use of the program is described and instructions given for specifying the function to be fitted and preparing input data. (D.L.C.)
