Computer (IBM-7090) programs were developed for calculating the pressure drop and temperature distribution in the DR-1 Gas Loop, an in-reactor test facility for irradiation of fuel elements and materials for gas-cooled reactors. The underlying fiuid flow and heat transfer analyses are reported. The coolant may be helium, nitrogen, or carbon dioxide. (D.L.C.)
