NOTE ON A NUCLEON-NUCLEON POTENTIAL

Journal Article · · Physical Review (U.S.) Superseded in part by Phys. Rev. A, Phys. Rev. B: Solid State, Phys. Rev. C, and Phys. Rev. D
A nucleon-nucleon potential was used in an approximate representation of phenomenological phase-- parameter fits to p-p and n-p scattering data, The potential employs a hard core and is different for singlet-even, singlet-odd, triplet-even, and triplet-odd states. It consists of central, tensor, spin- orbit, and quadratic spin-orbit parts. The latter are indicated by the singlet- even and triplet-even interactions, and are used only for even states. Coefficients in formulas for the potential are tabulated. (auth)
