By use of electromagnetically separated isotopes, the isotopic shifts of the transition between the configurations 4d/sup 10/5p-4d/sup 10/6s,7s, 5d and 6d in the Ag I spectrum and between the conflgurations 4d/sup 9/6s--4d/sup 9/6p and 4d/sup 9/ 5p-4d/sup 8/5s/sup 2/ in the Ag II spectrum were investigated. Within the measurement accuracy obtainable, no coupling efiect could be found. For the isotopic shift constant, the value 34 mk was found, (tr-auth)
